HOME OPS
Self-hosted home lab control

Your home lab, run from one place.

Home Ops watches every machine, runs your firewall from a plain-English plan, deploys apps and game servers, backs everything up every night, and puts it all on your phone. It runs on your own hardware. Nothing leaves your house.

The demo runs in your browser on a made-up home lab.

Fourteen sites, one sign-in

Everything you run, each with its own page.

Sign in once and every site knows you. A switcher in the corner moves between them, and Ctrl+K jumps to any page. Each one has a live demo.

Also: Drive for files, and your own Git server.

Setup

A wizard that starts from what you have.

One server and a switch, or ten machines: Home Ops asks what you have and fills in the rest. The setup page keeps a checklist until every step is done.

Name your site

A name and the domain its pages use, like example.lab.

Add people

Admins can do everything. Members see every page and use Drive, Docs and their own vault.

Add your machines

One command per machine installs the agent. Then install Docker, Kubernetes or KVM with a button.

Plan the network

Read it from your OPNsense, or answer a few questions: networks, what each is for, the VPN, Plex.

The router

Use your OPNsense, or build a new one from the plan and switch over with a safety net.

The rest of the services

DNS, backups, files, standbys: place each on a machine. Home Ops checks each one answers.

Safe by default

Changes that can't lock you out.

The parts that run your house get the most care. Every risky change is tried first and can undo itself.

↺Tried on a copy firstFirewall changes run on a sealed copy of your own firewall before they touch the real one.
⏱Switch-overs that switch backA new router goes live with a timer. If it doesn't check out, the old one comes back by itself, even after a power cut.
⚿Your keys stay yoursLogins live encrypted in your vault. Builds file their own passwords; nobody types them.
◐Standbys for the important partsA second firewall, DNS and a read-only Home Ops take over when a machine goes down.

The whole lab in your pocket.

Every site as a tab, alerts as notifications, and the phone reports in like any other machine. Add people, show a vault entry, restart an app from the couch.
